While the bar may present a friendly façade, what I experienced behind its walls was disgraceful and unfit for any venue.

The surfaces were tacky , and a foul smell of uncleaned spills and filthy restrooms filled the entire venue . With a smell of a mixture of urine , decay and sickness . The main bar, which should be the primary feature of any pub, was piled high with used mugs and refuse that looked like it had been ignored for a long time . The bathroom was in even more deplorable shape — backed up, with a snapped lever and tiles smeared in what I can only assume was human waste .
It wasn’t just a one-off bad night either. Based on the experiences shared online and chatting with the community, it seems that the quality of upkeep (or lack thereof) at this so-called establishment is a long-standing issue . Many guests have reported spotting critters darting across the serving surface and proof of vermin in the adjoining rooms.
